From A1 to C2, one station at a time
We follow the Common European Framework (CEFR). Your placement test tells you where you board; each course takes you to the next station. The Cambridge exams sit at the interchanges.

The academy
On the Cascais line since 1988
CLA - Language Academy opened in 1988 in Alvide, Cascais, and has been teaching languages on the Linha de Cascais ever since — more than 35 years of first words, exams passed and conversations started.
In July 2016 the academy moved to its current home in Edifício Ostende, Monte Estoril: modern, bright classrooms with audiovisual equipment, a few minutes from the station and the seafront.
We are an independent school, not a franchise. Our teachers follow each student's progress personally — which is exactly what our students say about us.
